Holiday on the brain

Today is 10 working days till my longest holiday in 3 years (2 weeks). 
We just moved into a new house and the holiday vibe is in full swing. 
I cant wait to get the Transkei road trip going.
I found these pics and they just make me want to disappear into the wild, for some nature and fun times with good friends.

1 Page WONDER

Today I'm doing some self promotion. A friend and I started a site, it's a one page site and it's aim is to be used as a tool for people who would really like a website of their own but don't know how to go about getting it or just don't have the time. The purpose is creating one page websites, quickly and cheaply, but of coarse anything is possible.

There are set templates to choose from but you can customise them and get it to look pretty much as cool as you want it to.

The Piano

I went to the coldplay concert last night in Cape Town stadium.
I have always loved Coldplay but my expectations weren't too high, I was actually more excited about the whole experience of attending the show with my friends and having a good time.

I was very impressed though the atmosphere was great!  Just wish they could have given The Parlotones a skip.

But the one thing that made my night was Chris Martin and that piano of his. What a cool piece of art.
It really made me regret the fact that I had to cell my piano to buy a mac while I was still studying.

Typewriter Art

"27-year-old Keira Rathbone from London, first started experimenting with typewriter art when she was in university. She bought an old typewriter from a flea market in the hope that she would soon use it to write something. By the middle of her first year at the university, she hadn’t come up with anything to put down on paper, so she decided to use it as a drawing tool. Being an African is something very special to me, we get to fight for what we want and believe in and I believe that shapes personality. 
More than just being a freedom fighter, Mandela inspires many different areas in life.


He even has an impact on fashion with those amazing once off patterned shirts he always wears.

Guerrilla Tactics



I designed a poster and flyers for a Guerrilla Tactics event by golden guerrilla. There have already been other currencies used in previous flyer designs, it's such a brilliant idea because it catches your attention immediately. I really hope to work with these guys some more in the future.

Christmas in June


 Someone want to come to the loo with me? . . .  Anyone?! please

In the middle of june we went up Matroosberg in Ceres for the anual june Christmas held at the ski klub. We hiked up in knee deep snow to a hut built in the 19230s. The hut was fulled to capacity with a lot of very interesting people of all ages. We drank lots of steaming hot guvine, exchanged prezzies and had some really awesome conversations. This was an experience I will never forget and I hope to make this a tradition.
